Basic Life Support Providers BLS is the foundation for saving lives after cardiac arrest. This course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application for both in-facility and pre-hospital settings.
This course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilation’s and provide early use of an AED automated external defibrillator.
This course is designed for Nurses & Nursing Students, Clinical Assistants, Paramedics, EMT’s, Medical Students, Physicians, and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills.
Pre AHA rules! Each student must have his or her own current copy of the Heartsaver, BLS, ACLS, or PALS Provider Manual in order to attend the class.
An AHA certification card is valid for two years and is awarded upon course completion of Heartsaver, BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
